The ministry of culture and tourism (dinas kebudayaan dan pariwisata) held poem contest 2008. We must create a poem that have theme "Loving our Country" or "Discipline". I choosed "Loving our Country," and began to wrote a poem. Each school in Indonesia, must send one student to contest. And my headmaster choosed me... wow... how surprised I am...

Allright, I began to wrote, and sent it into Ministry Of National Education office (kantor dinas pendidikan ) which not far from my school. Then, I waited for almost a week to get the announcement. I have no hope, because this is national competition, and I just have one experience about won poem contest like this.

Two weeks later, headmaster called me. He asked me to sit infront of him in the principal room. He told me that I've got 20 best place on Malang region, and I must go to final 3 days later. What????!! I learned to my professional indonesian teacher, Mr.Imam. He's very patient, and I'm sure in him.

The students that got into final must read the poem (surely, with dramatic poem style)...



Yup, and then... I got runner up. There are 6 place for winner. 1,2,3, and runner-up 1,2,3. I got 1st runner up.


wew. I remember last year. I compete in poem contest, just like this. And same like this, I got 1st runner-up too... is it my destiny?

yes yes yes, and I got NATIONAL CERTIFICATE!! hurrayyyyy~~~
